Wow!! What a Way to End The Season!
For anybody who attended last Sundays Greenfields CupFinals and Gala Awards ceremony thanks for making it such an incredible day! And what a day it was!
With over 1000 players, officials and parents in attendance our thanks to The British International School for allowing the league to conduct such a wonderful finals and end of season party in such a fitting location.
Congratulations to all the winners and runners-up of both the Coca Cola League and Greenfields Cup and a particular well-done to the Special Awards winners for those schools who helped to make 2008 the best ever. (See the web-site results page for full details).
A very special thanks to the hard-working JSFA Committee who have worked tirelessly over the past 6 months to make the competition what it is today. We played nearly 400 football matches and scored over 2700 goals. We played at 7 different venues whose support should not go unmentioned. We used a panel of 40 referees who affiliated over 84 teams in 11 divisions involving 1500 players.
The season ended with one of the biggest parties ever seen at a school in Jakarta when everyone came together under the banner of The Jakarta Schools Football Association.
