League takes shape as teams emerge in all divisions.
Week Three of the Coca-Cola League saw a number of sides establish themselves as likely contenders in all age groups. With some teams having played four matches we are beginning to approach the half-way stage and the teams to beat are now emerging.
In the U16’s only BIS A remain unbeaten on 9 points after overcoming high flying Al Azhar 4-1 played at STS-ACS. JIS U16 are 3 points adrift together with Santa Laurensia who have also dropped 3 points. In a very even and strong U16 any on of 4 teams still look a good bet. In U16B however Jakarta International Korean School remain unbeaten and looking at opening-up a gap after overcoming Kampung Jombang 4-1 on the day.
In U14A JIS United continue on their winning way after a comfortable win over JJC although Gandhi Memorial stay in contention following a 4-1 win over STB-ACS. SMPI Al Azhar are heading-up the division with 4 wins out of 4 and the big title clashes are yet to come. In U14B both Sekolah Global Mandiri and Lycee Francais remain unbeaten.
In U12A, the old rivalry between JIS and BIS continues as each team remains on maximum points. They are not scheduled to meet until March 6th and so it may remain that way for some time. ISCI Situ Boys and Macan Bantan are locked at 9 points at the top of the B division, whilst both SIS-PIK and Bina Bangsa-PIK remain unbeaten in C.
The last 16 of The Greenfields Challenge Cup is now on the web-site and is due to be played on Feb 21st.

League, Cup Matches in Jakarta Rewrite Record Books January 19, 2010
With 66 league and cup matches played this weekend, the Jakarta Schools Football League broke every record in the book on matches played and kids on the football field.
Despite inclement weather, six different venues were called into action and hosted close to 1,500 student footballers from 50 different schools.
The Greenfields Challenge Cup preliminary rounds for the Under-10s and Under-12s were held on Sunday morning. A hat-trick by Dwisadewo Fahmi of Sekolah Victory Plus put the team well on its way to an 8-1 triumph over Bina Bangsa School-Kebon Juruk.
Adit Aditya of Sekolah Mentari Int Bintaro emulated the feat in a 4-0 win over the all-girls team from The British International School, BIS White.
Asked if it felt any different scoring against girls, Adit said, “No, they’re a good team and it was a tough game. I was happy to score. We lost 5-0 on Saturday so it was great to win today and we get to play again next week.”
Another cup hat-trick, this time from a girl, came from the aptly named Chelsea Rock. She struck three times in the U-12 Division as British International School Blue beat the Sevilla School to go through to the next round.
League Registration Closes at 130 teams from 52 schools 2000 players December 10, 2009
The league committee has now closed the registration of teams for the 2010 season and has formally invited those schools to confirm their inclusion in the 2010 season by payment of the Rp 1.00 m per team subscription fee to the JSFA account detailed below.
When paid, the successful schools will be given access details to the player registration system to commence player registration.

After three easy wins so far this season the BIS A team was put to the strongest of tests against the unbeaten and very impressive Al Azhar A team.This was a great advertisement for the JSFA U10 A league with both teams willing to attack and play a high level of football from the start.

The BIS team got off to a relatively slow start for the game, and they had a number of scoring opportunities early on but they were unable to find the back off the net, due to the strong defence put up by DH.
BIS Blue 0 - SGM 4
A disappointing result for our first game of the season but a good game and one from which we can learn a lot. Whilst SGM perhaps were a little lucky to score 4 (many of their attempts on goal were very wild & wide of the mark) BIS could be too surprised at losing since the number of attempts we had on goal was minimal and our secret weapon Ben D’A was not given the chances on goal he loves so much to take.

Bis White started their campaign at DIS with a very good effort by all but in view only 8 BIS players on the pitch against a full strength SISPIK (with 4 or 5 substitutes too), it was always going to be difficult.
